Report War

The Report War system handles player reports and applies temporary penalties when needed. This page explains the principles so you can play fairly and protect yourself — without exposing abuse‑enabling details.

    Core Principles

    • Be resilient: Keeping at least 5 Gold makes you well tanked against most report attempts.
    • Legitimate play is safer: Clean behavior and normal activity generally makes you less susceptible to reports.
    • Don’t abuse reports: Misuse is itself punishable. If someone repeatedly flags you without reason, label them “False Reporter.”
    • Each report has a cost: Reporting consumes 0.5 Gold. You cannot report if you have less than 0.5 Gold.
    • Power varies: Admins can tank more reports and also strike a bit harder. Legitimate accounts generally carry higher reporting power than suspicious or new ones.
    • No self‑reporting: You cannot report your own account.
    • No duplicate charge: You can’t report the same player twice for the same offense.
Quick resets: A redacted username is automatically restored and a mute is automatically lifted after 1 hour.

    Costs & Limits

    • Per-report fee: 0.5 Gold. Failed or withdrawn reports are not refunded.
    • Rate limiting: Spamming the same indictment does not help and may backfire. Repeated baseless reports can lead to penalties.
    • Identity checks: Network and account signals (e.g., long-term play, clean flags) influence effectiveness. Details are intentionally abstracted to protect system integrity.

    Defense & “Legitimacy”

Your defense against reports improves with: some gold on hand (≈5+), legitimate activity, and good standing. Admins can generally tank more incoming reports and their reports count a bit more. Exact weights are not published to prevent gaming.

    Possible Outcomes

    • No action: Most reports don’t lead to penalties, especially against legitimate players.
    • Temporary username redaction: Applied for certain name-related offenses; auto-reverts after 1 hour.
    • Temporary mute: Applied for certain chat-related offenses; auto-unmutes after 1 hour.
    • Fines: Monetary penalties are applied, typically between 5 and 6 gold.

    Reporting Etiquette

    • Report behavior, not rivals. Don’t use reports as a game tactic.
    • When falsely reported, respond calmly and tag the offender as “False Reporter.”
    • Keep some Gold buffer to stay resilient.
    • Avoid patterns that could appear suspicious; this may reduce perceived legitimacy.

    FAQ

    Why 5 Gold?

A small reserve ensures your account has a baseline of resilience. Players at 0 Gold can’t file reports and are easier to pressure; a buffer helps you avoid that situation.

Can I see the exact formula?

No. To prevent manipulation, we publish only the high-level ideas. Keep gold on hand, play cleanly, and you will be fine.

What if someone keeps false-reporting me?

Tag them as “False Reporter.” Persistent misuse can lead to penalties.
